Event Childcare is a family-run business based in West Sussex, owned by sisters Lucy and Sophia — from a staggering family of 13 with 28 nieces and nephews. Being around children really IS in our blood!
We have a solid team of hand-picked, experienced, uniformed childcare professionals who are paediatric first aid trained, DBS certified and bring 100% to every single event.
Our nannies also have full experience working with children who have a range of additional needs.
Event Manager & Lead Nanny
Lucy is the Event Manager and the real face of the business — she'll more than likely be the lead nanny at many of our events.
Lucy has many years of experience with children, including work in nurseries, nannying, children's homes and childminding. She spent a year nannying for a private family in New York and also works in a special needs school.
She has a spirited daughter of her own, so she brings both professional expertise and a parent's instinct to everything she does.
Director & Event Planning Specialist
Sophia is the Director of Event Childcare. If you call, email or meet us at a wedding fayre, it will be Sophia you speak to first.
She has spent a huge amount of time abroad, including working as a live-in nanny in the USA. Her background is primarily in event planning and event management.
